PEGASO® AND MINI PEGASO®
The technique of airway clearance and lung recruitment therapy using In-Exsufflation has been well researched globally and has been shown to enhance patient respiratory function and quality of life.
Now the innovative Pegaso® systems have been made available to the United Kingdom in a portable, lightweight device with easy to set up controls on a digital control panel. With lockable settings, the individual can easily receive consistent treatment as well as clearly read the parameters in use for treatment. Both the Insufflation and Exsufflation pressure are set as individual settings allowing the clinician to finely tune treatment to the patients' needs, and retain them in memory for repeat use.
The Mini-Pegaso® system is also available as a lightweight portable device with an in-built Internal Battery allowing true independence and mobility for the patient requiring respiratory therapy and airway clearance.
With the added option of combining percussive airway clearance therapy in the same device, it allows the clinical specialist to direct targeted airway clearance followed by an enhanced cough manoeuvre to ensure patients receive maximal combined therapy from one single device.
